Unzipped Trailer
Catwalk Part 1
Marc Jacobs Doc Part 1
If you want to get your fashion knowledge on, these are 3 great movies I saw on You Tube this weekend! I had seen Unzipped many times before but Catwalk and The Marc Jacobs Louis Vuitton documentary were new to me. I enjoyed them very much. Unzipped is about Isaac Mizrahi and the making of this collection in the 90′s. Catwalk follows Christy Turlington during Fashion week in the 90′s and the Marc Jacobs documentary is about Marc Jacobs the brand and the collaboration with Louis Vuitton. I have posted the trailer for Unzipped, Part 1 of Catwalk, and Pat 1 of the Marc Documentary to give you a taste of what I got this weekend. Enjoy!
Check out the 5 short films that were made for the launch of Philips first cinema proportion tv. They have partnered up with director Ridley Scott to develop 5 different movies with the same dialogue, hence the project title Parallel Lines. My favorite films were The Darkroom and The Cut. There is also a competition where they are challenging the consumer to make a film with the same dialogue to round out the number of films to 6. Final entries are due August 8th 2010.
Check out all 5 movies here!

This short film trailer by Spike Jonze has stolen my little heart and Im dying to watch the whole thing. Its a robot love story set in present day Los Angeles and it looks amazing!!! You can go to IMHEREMOVIE.COM and check out the whole thing. The website and movie are sponsored my Absolut Vodka and the set up is pretty neat. You basically log into the main website and they let you know when the next “showing” is. It’s kinda like actually going to the movies but your not going to the movies…. It’s a neat concept and I’ve totally bought into it. Next showing today by the way is at 9:40p.m. Pacific Standard Time. I’ll be there! Hope to see you in virtual reality movie land!

Here is a short film by Gia Coppola and Tracey Antonopolous for the Spring/Summer collection of Opening Ceremony. It’s a sweet five minute little somethin’ that’s that was made up purely for the promotion of the clothing line but it’s interesting to watch none the less. It stars fellow on-screen lovers Jason Schwartzman (Gia’s cousin who I loves) and Kirsten Dunst. Enjoy!
P.S. The first minute of this movie has no sound so don’t be turning up the volume just to blow your eardrums out!

If you looking for a good Valentine’s movie to rent, I’d like to suggest one of my favorites. It’s french, it’s fun, it’s full of fantasy, it’s Amelie!
